Community Behavioral Nursing Services is a home health care agency dedicated to assisting our patients in finding solutions to their physical, behavioral and mental health concerns.

Primary focus is on behavioral and mental health needs. The CBNS team of medical professionals are highly experienced in the field of psychiatry. As a Medicare-approved home health care agency we provide direct quality care to homebound patients to promote their physical, emotional and psychosocial wellness.

Residential Programs

CBNS Nurses work alongside the most intensive level of care for both boys and girls. These programs specifically designed for youth facing serious psychological and behavioral issues who require intensive treatment in residential setting. Most programs includes individual, group and family therapy, expressive arts, art and recreational therapy, psychiatric treatment, education through on-site schooling or tutoring that encourages children to learn daily skills and thrive in a healthy, social setting as well nursing care.  CBNS is involved with educating staff daily care and medications.

Residential Services

Group home settings and independent settings is also CBNS area of interest.  These setting have services provided on a 24-hour per day, 7 day per week basis or on a more limited or independent basis. Services provide generally focus on teaching and promoting personal choice, and provision of needed support in areas such as benefit maintenance, budgeting, supervision, health and safety, personal care, shopping, meals, housekeeping, laundry, transportation, activities, socialization, and recreation.  Nursing services include assessments, treatments, delegations, consultations with staff and team members, training of staff, emergency care and consultations with physicians.
